Early Years

A Day in the Life of an Early Years Student at Invictus

Every day at Invictus is filled with fun, discovery, and learning for our youngest students! From the moment they step into our warm and welcoming environment, they are encouraged to explore, play, and grow at their own pace.

🌞 Morning Arrival & Welcome

As children arrive, they are greeted with big smiles and warm hellos from their teachers and friends. They settle into their classroom with free play activities, giving them time to transition smoothly into the school day.

📖 Circle Time & Storytelling

The day officially begins with circle time, where children come together to sing songs, share stories, and talk about the day ahead. This builds confidence, communication skills, and a sense of belonging.

🎨 Learning Through Play

Our early years program is built around learning through play. Whether it’s painting, building with blocks, or engaging in sensory activities, children develop creativity, fine motor skills, and early problem-solving abilities—all while having fun!

🔢 Early Numeracy & Literacy Activities

Children engage in fun hands-on activities to build early reading, writing, and math skills. They might be practicing letter sounds, counting objects, or tracing patterns, all designed to make learning interactive and enjoyable.

🍎 Snack & Outdoor Playtime

After an active morning, it’s time for a healthy snack and outdoor play. Our spacious play areas allow children to run, climb, and explore, helping to develop their physical strength and coordination.

🔍 Discovery & Exploration

The next part of the day is all about exploring the world around them. Whether it’s a science experiment, nature walk, or learning about different cultures, children are encouraged to ask questions and satisfy their natural curiosity.

🀄 Early Language Development – Chinese & Thai

At Invictus, we introduce students to Chinese and Thai at an early age, helping them build a strong foundation in languages. Through songs, games, storytelling, and interactive activities, children naturally develop listening and speaking skills in both languages. These early experiences not only foster a love for languages but also enhance cognitive development and cultural awareness.

🎵 Music, Movement & Creativity

From dancing and singing to playing musical instruments and acting out stories, this part of the day helps students express themselves and develop confidence in their abilities.

🥪 Lunch & Quiet Time

After a fun-filled morning, children enjoy a nutritious lunch, followed by quiet time.

👫 Social & Emotional Development

Throughout the day, children learn to share, take turns, and build friendships through structured and unstructured play. Teachers guide them in developing important social-emotional skills such as empathy, patience, and teamwork.

🚀 Home Time – Ending the Day on a Happy Note

As the day comes to a close, students reflect on what they enjoyed and learned before saying goodbye to their friends and teachers. They leave with big smiles, happy hearts, and a sense of excitement for what tomorrow will bring!

At Invictus, every day is an opportunity for our Early Years students to learn, play, and grow in a nurturing and inspiring environment. 💡✨
